He is THE BEST and they are the Hardest Working Entity Around! This is the 7th time I've seen this Toronto Metal and Hard Rock N' Roll Maniac and it was at the best venue so far... which is kind of sad considering Danko Jones has been professionally ROCKING for almost 20 years, selling out major festivals with thousands of people all over Europe and he still plays these little clubs and bars in his hometown. I love the up-close and intimacy of seeing him in these settings, but the guy deserves to be playing in major concert halls and venues --- it's too bad the industry doesn't push and market him and his songs (or pick proper singles for him) properly, it's too bad his brand/music isn't properly resonating with the public because the guy is severely talented and entertaining and desreves his credit and his due... AWESOME show as always, DANKO JONES IS A FORCE AND A BEAST TO BE RECKONED WITH!

John was utterly rib tickling. A couple old jokes but mostly new. I was concerned it was going to be the "I'm starvin" dvd, but it wasn't. His delivery as always was perfect and he makes u feel comfortable like you're friends just hangin out. He chooses great opening acts as well so I highly suggest u get in there early and don't stay at the bar until john goes on. I saw him at the Wilbur theater in boston on a sat, spent an hour parking. Found space at the hertz garage. Get there early, have some food and drink. Bring all your friends andprepare for a night u won't soon forget!

Pretty good opening bands with a very awesome one night performance from Zebrahead with the crowd interacting with each other and the band interacting with the crowd.

Great show, Ellis was in top form, amazing guitar tone and playing. The venue was great too, we had a booth center of the floor, the waiter Freddy was on top of drinks and food the entire time. Really enjoyed the show, the food, and the time spent at BB Kings. I took one star off because the drinks where a bit exspensive.

I think the folks who set the lineup for this show had it backwards. Kenny is a bit more mellow and Ms. Fish is a guitar warrior. After an awesome set from her Kenny was... a bit... boring. It wasn't his fault and I'm sure I would have liked his more mellow approach had he opened. I hope when she's in my neck of the woods next time she's the headliner. Actually I hope she is the only performer and she plays all night. If you see her in your area don't miss her. She's great.

Throughout the years, despite numerous personnel changes, this band continues to excel in live shows. The rhythm section is tight, the horns are outstanding, guitarist Chris Vachon is great without being flashy or showy, and the frontman fills the bill well. If you love live music, this band is for you.And if you get a chance to see a show at Blue Ocean Music Hall, do it; this is one outstanding venue.

Apparently Joe was under the weather with the flu. Kudos to him for not canceling I guess. Frankly, they wasted a lot of valuable time with two long instrumental jams that clearly a stall tactic. He played only one of his popular songs. It end on a high note with a Chuck Berry song jam that included the two guitarists from the opening act. Overall, worth the $15 I paid but still disappointed.

This was a wonderful show- I hadn't seen most of them before, but they were so talented and entertaining, I feel lucky to have gotten a ticket to see them on the last night of their tour on our side of 'the pond'. They are seriously good musicians!
